Consolation Lakes

Tucked just beyond Moraine Lake, past the boulder-strewn remains of a rockslide off the Tower of Babel, the Consolation Lakes are one of Banff National Park’s quietest gems. This artwork captures the lake’s glacier-fed water framed by Mount Babel and the Quadra Glacier — a peaceful counterpoint to the busier icons of the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Part of the Canada’s Parks Posters Banff National Park series, it’s a tribute to the Canadian Rockies for anyone who’s hiked along Babel Creek, or simply loves the mountain landscapes of Alberta.
